As you consider the title of today’s challenge, “This Moment Is All You Have” you will most likely be responding in one of two ways. Many will almost immediately think something to the effect of “Well, that seems pessimistic.” Others will be challenged in a liberating sense and think, “Then I am going to make the most of it.”
I pray that these words today will stir up within you a strong desire to experience God’s plan, purpose, and provision in your life and ministry! It is my earnest prayer for you to prosper in all your hands find to do. I truly wish for you to succeed as you lead families into a closer walk with our Lord Jesus Christ. God has placed within my heart an urgency to see you continue to move forward in Him.
Did you hear the story of the pastor who wanted to illustrate the Acts 2 story of tongues of fire? He placed a small propane canister in his inner suit coat pocket, from which he ran a small pipe that went to the back of his neck and up toward the top back of his head. He walked out in front of the children as to carefully not reveal the piping. As he was telling the Bible story, he casually reached inside his pocket and turned the valve to the open position.
